Helpful Beauty Hints.....

Have a trial
I highly recommended that all brides have a makeup trial prior to their wedding. I will communicate with you to give you the perfect look for your special day. If you like, you can bring magazine clippings of makeup styles you like to the trial as this will give me a good indication of the colours being incorporated in your wedding and what makeup style you like. I will spend the time to create a look that is right for you, accentuating your best features and with clever use of various tones of eyeshadows, contouring and highlighting, and even using false lashes (if you choose to have lashes) I will create a natural or glamorous look with ease.
Once you are happy with the final look I will record the details of the products used and how they were applied so the agreed upon look can easily be replicated on the wedding day.
Look after your skin
Ensure you nurture your skin, whether it be with a simple daily routine of cleanse, tone, moisturise or a couple of indulgent facials at your local beauty salon, it’s important that you look after your skin! Please exfoliate your face once a week, or if you have dry skin twice a week to keep your skin smooth, deeply cleansed and glowing.
Drink plenty of water!Exfoliate your face the night before your Wedding day.
I can recommend some great products if you would like to make sure you are purchasing high quality products that will give great results.
Get your eyebrows groomed by a professional
A few months out from your wedding, start going to the same eyebrow artist that you are happy with so that you have time to grow out any spots that may be bothering you.
On your wedding day
*Brush your teeth prior to starting your make-up
*Cleanse your face and apply your moisturiser prior to starting your make-up
*Wear a button up top so you don't need to pull it over your head (This will prevent you from wiping off your
makeup and messing up your hair)
*Remember to put deodorant on before you get dressed
*Make sure you have a touch up kit- keeping a lipstick and/or lip gloss in your purse and a compact foundation or powder to ensure you are camera ready all day long.
*Try and use a straw when you are drinking out of a glass, to reduce lipstick re-applications
